Asia Pacific Liquidity: Back Towards Pre-Crisis Levels

ITG’s inaugural monthly Asia Pacific Liquidity Barometer shows regional trading conditions easing back towards Q3 2008 levels. Trading costs are down overall, spreads are narrower and order size is ticking up, showing a renewed interest in block trading. While regional liquidity dipped slightly in July compared to June, this reflects the lazier days of the Northern hemisphere summer rather than tougher trading conditions.
