Give Back

We Believe In Working Hard and Giving Back

Over the past five years, we’ve prioritized giving back to our local communities by volunteering more than 10,000 hours of our time. Through ITG’s Give Back program, senior leaders across the firm lead teams of ITGers in volunteer events such as cleaning up harbors in Los Angeles, running for charity in Hong Kong and donating blood in Melbourne.

Across all of our offices we’re committed to improving our surrounding communities by supporting causes we truly believe in. Together we have:

Painted homeless shelters, served meals, led fundraising events, run in charity races, tutored adults, befriended the elderly, mentored young people, held an in-office bone marrow registry, given blood, cleaned up parks and rivers, planted trees, written to military personnel overseas, packaged meals at food banks, packed clothing and furniture for local charities and overseas shipments, and much more.

While charity is its own reward, our passion for giving back has earned us honorable mention in PR Daily’s Corporate Social Responsibility Awards for Best Employee Volunteer Program.

MiFID II: Systematic Internalisers and Liquidity Unbundling

Major changes are underway, causing significant extra work in the short term as the industry adapts and builds solutions to help the buy side deal with their consequences. However, we think that long term, the buy side will continue to be able to access liquidity efficiently with unprecedented control over the counterparties they choose to interact with—in effect, an unbundling of liquidity sources from the aggregation of flows residing in broker pools today.
