Francis J. TroiseChief Executive Officer and President
Frank Troise joined ITG in January 2016 from J.P. Morgan, where he was head of J.P. Morgan Execution Services, a global cross-asset execution group. Previously, he was global head of electronic trading at Barclays Capital and head of U.S. electronic trading at Lehman Brothers.
Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, Troise spent eight years at ITG, including serving as managing director in charge of client site sales and trading. He also has held management consulting positions at Booz Allen and Accenture, and previously served on the boards of BIDS Holdings, Chi-X Global Holdings, and Neovest.
Troise earned a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering at Boston University, a master of science in operations research at Columbia University, and an MBA at MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
Robert BoardmanManaging Director, Chief Executive Officer, EMEA
Rob Boardman, chief executive of Investment Technology Group Limited (Ireland), ITG’s European broker-dealer, came to ITG in 2006 as head of algorithmic sales. His career began in 1994 at Goldman Sachs, where he filled various roles in deploying trading technology to institutional clients over 12 years. Boardman was a founding member of the European FIX Protocol organization in the late 1990s, when standards for electronic trading were formed; he was global head of its marketing working group in 2001.
Boardman earned undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in particle physics at the University of Oxford, where he participated in the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory scientific collaboration.
Michael CorcoranManaging Director, Chief Executive Officer, Asia Pacific
Michael Corcoran joined ITG in 2002 to head the Melbourne institutional desk after 12 years at boutique Australian investment bank BBY. He began his career there in equities research, and ended as the concurrent chief operating officer, global head of institutional research sales and sales trading, and head of retail broking.
He holds a B.A. from Monash University.
Angelique DeSantoManaging Director, General Counsel
Angelique DeSanto joined the firm in 2006, with responsibilities that included mergers and acquisitions and, later, advising on a variety of matters, including employment, commercial, disclosure, governance, and general public company matters. Prior to joining ITG, Ms. DeSanto spent over three years as a corporate associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges.
DeSanto received her law degree from Boston College Law School, where she was on the National Moot Court Team. She earned a bachelor’s degree summa cum laude in biology from Suffolk University.
Peter GoldsteinManaging Director, Head of Human Resources
Peter Goldstein has more than 25 years of experience in human resources, focusing on talent management, training and development, graduate recruitment, compensation design, employee relations, and staffing.
He joined ITG in 2007 from Deutsche Bank, where he was global head of human resources for RREEF alternative investments and a member of the management team. Goldstein also held senior roles in the equities division, including head of human resources for DB Alex Brown. Prior to Deutsche, he worked in human resources with J.P. Morgan for nine years. While at J.P. Morgan, Goldstein spent almost five years at Euroclear, in Brussels, where he was a member of the operating committee.
Goldstein holds a bachelor’s degree in managerial economics from Union College. He also has a master’s in industrial labor relations from Cornell University; an active alumnus, he serves on the program’s advisory board.
